Lü Bu Fengxian is Humanity's representative in the first round of Ragnarok, going against Thor. Lü Bu is also the main character of his spin-off manga, "The Legend of Lü Bu".

Lü Bu, also known as "The Flying General" (飛將, Hishō), hails from Ancient China and was a prominent warlord during the Three Kingdoms period and is considered by many to be the "Strongest Warrior in History" (史上最強の戦士, Shijō Saikyō no Senshi).

Lü Bu was considered to be a violent, bloodthirsty, and fearless warrior, being seen as a "God of War" (戦神, Ikusagami) and a "Furious Dragon" (暴れ龍, Abare Ryū) on the battlefield.

Appearance

Lü Bu takes the form of a tall, muscular man covered with battle scars all throughout his body. The most notable scar would be a rather small one on his right cheek. He has waist-long dark hair, which is tied into a bun and adorned with two golden antennae-like pheasant tail feathers. He has an Eastern dragon tattoo across the front and back of his torso and shoulders and 「飛將」("Flying General") tattooed on the right side of his body. He also has a goatee and no eyebrows. Lü Bu wears no clothing on his upper body and no footwear. He wears white baggy pants and a piece of fabric that resembles dragon scales, which is tied by a belt with a large decorated golden lion head buckle. His teeth are like a shark's, exhibiting his status as the apex predator of his war-torn time period, and are usually hidden by his scowling expression.

Lü Bu was a fearless, bold, determined, and battle-lusting individual who, like Thor, took an enormous amount of pleasure in fighting. He had no fear of death or injury. During his life, Lü Bu fell into despair when he realized that nobody in the mortal world could challenge him. Lü Bu was described by Brunhilde as the worst and most barbaric warrior. Similar to Thor, he is a man of few words, only speaking when absolutely necessary or when in combat.

He also didn't show concern for worldly materials, such as money, as he told Dong Zhuo's advisor to get lost, even after being offered 10,000 wushu, 200 pieces of silk, and 20 jewels.

Abilities

Overall Abilities: Lü Bu is considered to be China's strongest hero and warrior. Even other legendary Chinese figures like Guan Yu and Dong Zhuo acknowledged his prowess. It has also been stated by Guan Yu that Lü Bu's raw power alone was already enough for him to be recognized as the strongest man in the Three Kingdoms. Lü Bu also managed to fight on equal terms with the Nordic's Strongest Warrior and the God's Vanguard, Thor.

Godlike Strength: Lü Bu possesses nigh-absolute physical strength. He could take on Thor's Hammer head-on, despite only being a human. His strongest swing, called Sky Eater, even managed to part the clouds for several miles. In his spin-off, he managed to hurl a flag twice his size a phenomenally far distance, throw gigantic boulders on top of one another effortlessly, and break constraints made of "Kegai Steel" (which have been stated to be stronger than any chains) just by flexing his muscles.

Godlike Speed ​​& Reflexes: Lü Bu has displayed immense speed and reflexes. He is capable of blocking arrows and avoid getting hit by Mu Shun's Kaleido Qilin (an attack that appears to be fast enough to create afterimages) without putting in any effort. During his match against Thor, he was capable of dodging and blocking most of Thor's attacks, despite the God being fast enough to kill multiple Giants without them being able to even perceive his attacks. He was able to keep up with Red Hare's speed, who was fast enough to create a Sonic boom.

Godlike Durability: Lü Bu was shown to be durable enough to take the force of one of Thor's most powerful techniques, Thor's Hammer, easily, even managing to counterattack. He later took on Thor's Geirröd in a head-on clash, an attack that was once used to bury Jörmungandr, a gigantic serpent (possibly large enough to surround the Earth itself), in a single hit. However, his legs were destroyed in the process.

Godlike Endurance & Stamina: Lü Bu was capable of exerting himself to his physical and mental limit throughout the duration of his fight with a God without showing any signs of fatigue. He could swing a halberd over 36 thousand times non-stop and was able to continue this process for months and years with little to no rest.

• Immense Pain Tolerance: Lü Bu possess immense pain tolerance. Even after getting his legs destroyed by one of Thor's most powerful techniques, Geirröd, he barely showed any signs of pain and even managed to continue fighting the God. Afterwards, after getting fatally wounded, his right arm mutilated, and his left arm torn off, Lü Bu didn't flinch in the slightest, but rather smiled as he met his doom.
• Thermal Resistance: Lü Bu has displayed resistance to extreme temperatures and weather conditions. During his training to develop Sky Eater, Lü Bu kept swinging his weapon, even during heavy rain, without any issue. In the anime, Lu Bu was shown training during winter with little clothing without being affected.
• Poison Resistance: During his fight against the Seven Grails of Uruk, Lü Bu was hit with poisoned arrows. Despite the poison being strong enough to kill an elephant, Lü Bu not only managed to avoid death, but he was also capable of removing the poison from his body by sucking his own blood and spitting it out.

Mental Abilities

Strong Willpower: Lü Bu possesses a powerful will, as shown by how he never once faltered in his battle against Thor. Even in his final moments, Lü Bu never showed any signs of fear and instead smiled out of joy. His indomitable spirit grants him immense pain tolerance and allows him to push his own body beyond its limits. The only thing that appears to be capable of breaking his will is plain boredom, since he let himself be executed just because he could no longer find joy in living.

Enhanced Charisma: Lü Bu is a very charismatic individual. Without any effort, he managed to convince multiple people to become his loyal soldiers. His army was so loyal to him that they were even willing to follow him into the afterlife and even Niflhel.

Fighting Abilities

Master Spearman: When fighting with a weapon, Lü Bu opts to wield a halberd (a polearm akin to an axe merged with a spear), a weapon extremely common and popular in Ancient China. His excellent dexterity and ability to comb through people like a butcher was displayed in a flashback. He is able to operate a halberd with excellent precision, accuracy, and strength. After training for years, his skills grew to the point that he could even split the sky in half with his weapon. His skill with a halberd was such that he was capable of going toe to toe with Thor's strongest attacks.

Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Lü Bu is very skilled at the art of unarmed combat. While he usually avoided fighting unarmed, he was more than capable of defeating most opponents with his bare fists. Even during his childhood, Lü Bu could kill enormous animals with nothing but his own body.

Golden Age: As a Human soul in the afterlife, Lü Bu possesses the appearance and skills that he had during his Golden Age, the age in which he was at his peak.

Menacing Aura: While not to the same degree as Odin or Thor, Lü Bu has displayed the ability to intimidate people with his presence/aura. This was best seen in the spin-off, where he was able to make multiple soldiers and horses feel immense fear with just his aura (including powerful soldiers, like Huang Gai, Han Dang, and Sun Jian) to the point that many of the horses began to run away. Later, during his fight against Sun Jian, the spectators felt immense pressure from their presence alone (described as being suffocating). When the aura of Lü Bu and Sun Jian collided with each other, they were capable of creating powerful gusts of wind.

Miscellaneous Abilities

Master Horseman: Lü Bu has displayed godly skill at horsemanship. From a young age, he showed great talent at the art and his skill at riding horses greatly helped him in his battles throughout the course of the Three Kingdoms period. Lü Bu primarily rode his beloved horse, Red Hare, and his horsemanship skills were so good that it has been stated that Red Hare himself can be considered an extension of Lü Bu's own body.

Techniques

	Incomplete Sky Eater: A less powerful version of his special move, developed prior to his training. Zu Mao was able to temporary stop this attack. However it was strong enough to intimidate skilled warriors like Sun Jian.
	Sky Eater (天喰そらぐい, Soragui): Lü Bu's ultimate move where he grips the end of Sky Piercer in one hand and performs a powerful downward swing. The power of Lü Bu's own superhuman strength and grip combines itself with the centrifugal force of his swing, creating an attack capable of splitting the sky in half.

Equipment

Man-made Halberds: During his time on Earth, Lü Bu used multiple man-made halberds. However, due to his immense strength, he always ended up breaking them. These halberds were incapable of withstanding the force of Lu Bu's Sky Eater without disintegrating in the process.

Sky Piercer (方ほう天てん戟げき, Hōtengeki): A Divine Weapon in the form of a halberd provided by the Völundr of the 4th Valkyrie, Randgriz. He named the weapon "Sky Piercer" and, due to Randgriz's divine enhancement, Lü Bu's halberd was granted the ability of breaking any form of defense, even shattering Járngreipr, which is claimed to be the strongest defense in Heaven, capable of withstanding any attack.

Mount

Red Hare: Lü Bu's beloved warhorse, who followed him through countless battles and conquests and even followed him post-mortem to death. Red Hare is also infamous for being a horse that could "travel a thousand miles" and is considered to be an "extension to Lü Bu's own body".

• According to Wu Qiong, the name "The Flying General" is due to Lü Bu's reputation as someone who has never bowed his head to someone nor has been ever tied to anyone. He moves freely through the battlefield like a flying dragon.
• Lü Bu was born during the red moonlight. According to an ancient legend, that made him destined to be an evil child that will bring a bloody disaster. Due to the presence of the supernatural in the Shuumatsu no Valkyrie universe, this legend may be one of the reasons for Lü Bu's immense power.
